Description	"Many of the new members gained on the home mission fields are gained through confirmation. Very few are received from other Lutheran churches. The synodical mission districts show a higher rate of gain in membership than any other part of the synod. The gain in membership on all the three mission districts since 1922 is 35 per cent. The gain for the synod as a whole during the same time is 14 per cent."
